[/font][/blockquote]Tell us who you are...Name: Clarisse Amelia LeBonneAKA: Reece.
Age: Sixteen
Orientation: Bisexual
Affiliation: Student
Gift: Demon Posession.
When Clarisse was small, she was scouted out by a demon named Omega. It uses her body as its own when necessary, taking over completely as her consciousness rests in the back of her brain. The demon's ability allows her to control shadows to the extent that they'll wobble and stretch by a few inches.
Play-By: Holly Miranda.May I ask your story...?
When Clarisse was born to Cecile LeBonne, her mother (as all other mothers tend to think) knew she would be special. She was gifted with the name Clarisse Amelia after her grandmother and her great aunt.
She grew up on a small farm in northern Montana, very near the Canadian border. She was visited by the demon Omega at the age of three and marked with a large, dark smudge on the nape of her neck that the doctors identified as a birthmark. She was, from then on, avoided by other children. They all sensed something... wrong about her, something nobody could put their finger on, but every time she entered a room until the final year of middle school, conversations dropped to whispers if they didn't stop. When the rumors made their way around school that she would curse you if you looked at her, rumors which started out of a joke a boy on the soccer team made, she was tortured mercilessly with people covering their eyes and making loud comments when she walked by in the halls, and whenever she tried to look at a person, they averted their eyes. Even those talking directly to her.
Around the middle of the final year of middle school, people moved on to other things, but nobody would talk to her, still. Through her freshman year of high school she was ignored by everyone but the teachers, and even when the teachers spoke to her it was simply to discuss, briefly, why the date in a history report was off by just a bit, or why she would purposefully misspell boron.
In the summer after her Freshman year was finally over, she was walking through the street by herself around sunset when suddenly she felt dizzy. Strange. She had a tiny headache, and felt a little separated from her body, but she shook it off and attempted to make it the rest of the way home. She only remembers what she heard, felt, and thought after that, remembers that one second she was walking and the next, it was as if someone else had taken over her body. She heard a voice going through her mind, and felt herself speaking, although she wasn't the one doing any talking. She actually tried to make herself stop, but the talking continued. "Well, this is a wonderful body. A little flat in the front for a dame, but it feels strong. I actually chose a good one this time!"
Then it started making her move in the opposite direction of home. She didn't like that, was terrified, and fought vehemently for control of her own body back. After some glaring and complaining from the body snatcher, she won. She heard a sigh that felt like it was echoing in the back of her head as she sprinted towards home, and she would have screamed had she not been completely out of breath while running home. She knew she was crazy, that it had to be in her head, and so she told no one. Her mother was worried when, at dinner, Reece was staring at her food with wide, unfocused eyes, not having said a word since she had entered the house through the back door and run straight for the bathroom.
Her mother confronted her, but got nothing out of her. Then her older sister tried to reach her. Nothing. It wasn't until her brother David, a year younger than her and her closest friend at the time, hesitantly entered her room and found her curled up in a ball and hugging her pillow that she spoke. He sat on the edge of her bed and she told him everything that happened. He didn't call her crazy, but he was worried that she might be losing it, just a little. He stayed with her that night to keep her from losing too much sleep on her own.
Three days and several more fights with herself later, Reece was thoroughly sure that she was mad. She'd resigned herself to this fact, but then a woman showed up out of literally nowhere when Reece was walking home from the bookstore. One moment, Reece was looking at the empty dirt road in front of her, the next she was nearly face-to-face with a woman who seemed to be looking not quite at her, more at the air surrounding her. Then the woman said "Could you take my hand a moment?" And Reece felt a snarling and hissing enter her head. Omega took over for the following conversation.
"Jenette. How lovely to see you again, although I had hoped to not encounter someone from your little institution for another thousand or so years." A voice came from Reece's mouth that sounded like her, but once again was controlled by someone completely separate from her consciousness. She tried to yell at the thing taking her over, but had to settle for a string of profanities going through her thoughts. The thing responded in her head. Quite a mouth you have, Clarisse. Now be quiet so I can get rid of her.
"Omega, I know." The Jenette said, her eyes tired and shoulders tense. "I had hoped to not see you again either, but it looks like you haven't learned anything since our last conversation."
There was much more to be said, obviously, but then Reece was somehow able to get control of herself back. The woman relaxed and began speaking to calm Reece, and they ended up going to the LeBonne residence so that Jenette could talk to Reece's parents. By the start of the next week, she had been transferred over to Saint Gertrude Academy for the Gifted. She's been there for two years and has made a friend in her roommate, Annabell, who is the only one who can tell when it's Omega and not Reece making the terrible comments on a person's appearance or actions.
Omega cut all of Reece's hair, which at this point in time is a dark-blonde-light-brown, to her chin, and it took her all of her time at the Academy so far to grow it back to the shoulder-length it is now. Her iced-green hazel eyes were nearly gouged out because Omega said the wrong thing to a girl in the year above Reece. She's had to use her full height of five feet nine inches and her long arms and legs to climb trees and escape from trees after Omega angered several earth and plant controllers with a perverted comment. The only one that can get Omega genuinely annoyed is, once again, Annabell, who knows when to make a comment that will hurt the demon.
The demon Omega is truly an evil creature in Reece's eyes. As opposed to original her quiet, shy, polite demeanor, Omega is loud, irritating, and rude. While her temper is probably shorter than the demon's, she doesn't start anything, just muttering a poorly formed response or being completely silent and unresponsive when faced directly with confrontation. Omega forces her out of every one of her comfort zones. But she'd grudgingly thank it for making her that tiny bit more social, even if she hated its way of doing so. And it doesn't always make her do things that offend other people--as long as it's something she wouldn't do but wasn't completely morally against, Omega would make her do it. Like shouting out a question or answer that he heard her think, or making her say hi to someone she was staring at from behind her notebook.
