[/font][/blockquote]Tell us who you are...Name: Rajah Candal Ra’hileAKA: Raj
Age: Sixteen
Orientation: Heterosexual

Gift: Terrakinesis
Rajah’s gift allows him dominion of the control of the earth around him and shapes it to whatever he desires it to bend to. Unlike most he has very good control but has a very limited range, only able to use the earth that is within a foot of him or less, and does not have the stamina to hold such control for long.

Chance favors the prepared mind, saying that could almost fit Rajah like a glove. From the day he was born it was as if this child was going to be ready for any type of situation. Being born in the slums of India, Rajah has known what it’s like to be on the worst end of things. His mother, a young Indian native had been seen as a god send to the people of the slums. She took care of the many children as a teacher, cooked for those who were without homes, and on top of all that, was a faithful wife to Rajah's father. When she was blessed to have Rajah, she was already with three other boys of her own. However, unknown to her, this would be her last. She began having her baby while playing with her current youngest child in the fields. She went into labor in mid run and fell once it began. He son went to get the father when she had fallen. She had gone down so hard, that it caused her to bleed internally. Rajah's father came to his wife and knew he would need assistance and had called ahead for a doctor. When the doctor had come, she was already well into labor and was starting to bleed out. the doctor, unknown to them was an angel that had come from the heavenly plain to preside over the birth. He knew she would not make it, but that the child could be saved. The angel did his best to make her comfortable but once Rajah was born, she passed on leaving him with his father and three brothers left to rear him up in some of the harshest conditions. The angel then did what he could to help the child, blessing him before he would live the child to his fate in the slums.
He learned at an early age that life was not fair, dealing with the worst of the worst that lived in the slums, being treated like dirt by those who lived in the upper parts of the city that came to the slums to hide from the law or bring themselves up but looking down on the slum dwellers. Hear learned as a child to cherish all the little things he could hold as his own, and to despise the rich and the wealth they squandered and the way they treated there fellow human beings. From there he was known to be very quiet, and very cautious when dealing with people. He knew that others around him never truly meant the smiles they gave or the help that was offered. There was always a catch and smiles were masks to gain someone’s trust.
When he was grew older, he was taught at home by his father and older brother the basics of reading and writing. After he was taught to read, he took off with his new found skill, reading everything he could find, from scraps of old magazines to discarded newspapers. He soon was reading as much as he could, showing that he was very bright. His older siblings also made sure there baby brother was tough, rough housing whenever they were out of their father’s sight. However, Rajah learned that words stung more than any fist or foot could, and made that a habit with dealing with the other slum kids. This made Rajah able to take a lot more when he was fighting be it verbally or physically.
When he became 10, the most tragic thing in his life happened. His father, having gone a years without his wife with whom he saw in his children every day, had gone to drinking shortly after her death. He had kept a good hold on his habit but as the years passed, he grew worse and worse, to the point he had lost his job just days before Rajah's 10th birthday. His father then fell into a great depression when Rajah’s birthday came. He drank himself into a stupor, leaving the children to tend to the house. Rajah luckily was playing outside when his older and younger brothers started to bicker about making food in the kitchen. They started a fire to get some food going but were too busy arguing to realize that the fire was growing bigger and bigger. Soon the flames caught the kindling that was laying haphazardly next to the fire pit. It lit ablaze and started to take up the rest of the home. It wasn’t long till the place was burned to the ground and all Rajah could do was scream for his father as the other dwellers kept the young one from going inside, knowing no one could have gotten out. With Rajah homeless and with no other family, he was taken in by a more well to do family in the nicer side of the country. They were a couple that had known Rajah's mother before she had gotten married, having grown up in the slums as well. They both had gotten engaged and were both blessed with a very well paying position with that of the higher ups in Indian society. When they heard of the accident, the quickly took in the young Rajah, raising him as there own to be brought up in much better conditions.
While in his new home, he was given everything he needed to survive; food, clothing, a great education, and a warm bed. These were luxuries he had never had. He felt that he didn’t deserve what his foster parents were giving him and would constantly ask why they were being so nice. He always waited for the day they would show there ‘true colors’ and toss him on the street. In school he was seen as an outcast, a boy from the slums that got a free ticket into high society. The teased him, tormented him for what he really was and at one point, fought him to prove that he belonged back in the Indian ghetto. It was then at age 16 that his gift flourished when he was cornered by a grouping of teens. They were the usual group that teased Rajah and started to make a game out of it. This day though, the game was seeing if they could make Rajah bleed. They waited till after school and chased Rajah into a nearby alleyway. The cornered Rajah at a dead end and grabbed anything they could to strike at Rajah, from bottles to trash can lids. They went to beat him but before they could, Rajah yelled in anger, “LEAVE ME ALONE!!” and a pillar of solid rock rose up from under him, shooting him up out of the reach of his attackers. They looked in wonder as he sat on top of the pillar, his cry for help being heard from that of teacher who was dumbstruck to what the child had done.
After the incident, Rajah’s foster parents thought it would be best to home school him and see what could have caused the strange incident. Rajah himself became distant from almost everyone, including his foster parents. He made reading and manipulating the little bits of sand around his back yard his past time, not even going outside to play when his friends from his old school came around. It even got to a point when he started to go through puberty that he started to think that his powers were a curse brought upon himself for not helping his old parents. He started to run off from the safety of his foster care and go to the slums, visiting the place of his child hood despite the will of his parents. On more than one occasion, he had been found sneaking in after his visits and had various marks on his body from fighting in the slums with those who spoke ill of him and his parents. After a near fatal happening in which Rajah was ambushed by a man that meant to rob Rajah, he was found by his father and was barred from his nightly visits. They made sure to never let Rajah out again without there say so, putting metal bars around his window and the estate that they were living.
They held him for 2 weeks after the initial attack at school, sending him to many doctors, thinking perhaps he was a mutation from the slums or perhaps the trauma had been the cause for his the drastic change in his hair and eye color. After many tests, no one could understand what had caused the rocks to rise, nor the reason his eyes had turned yellow or that his hair had started to go white. But even with his constant worry of his parents, Rajah stayed quite about what was going on outside of their knowing. He started to test the power he had been blessed with, playing with sand and dirt on the road, lifting areas in his back yard when he was out of reach of something, or just making small hills to which he would trip up those he passed in the city. His foster parents, however, caught on and began to worry when the neighbors were complaining about their property being toyed with every day. It finally got out of hand when Rajah was seen, raising a pillar in his back yard and let it fall onto one of the neighbors.
Finally, after much deliberation, the parents thought it best to do something with there child. They knew that no nearby school would be ok, especially with his powers. He was going to have to be sent somewhere though, otherwise the surrounding area would drive them out. They were finally at wits end when a recruiter came looking for a child who had caused many disturbances in the area. The Recruiter soon found Rajah's caretakers and when he asked of the young teen, he was told of the past few years. It was then that the foster parents were told of the academy. It didn't take long for them to decide to send Rajah there, hoping that he would find people like him and would open up to others once again. When Rajah was told of there plans for him, he didn’t show that he looked forward to the new school, keeping quite when he heard the news. He secretly wished to leave and find those like him, hoping to be around others that wouldn’t see him as a poverty stricken slum dog, test tube subject, or a danger waiting to happen. He soon packed his bags and walked the way of his home one last time before looking to the recruiter, "When do we leave...I wish to go away from this place as soon as possible..."

Skills. Show them.
As Uunia sensed around for his student, he looked about the club, taking in all that he saw. He looked as if studying, making mental notes of everything from the music, the decor, the drinks, everything that seemed to make Mammoth so popular to the higher end crowd. He made his way across the floor and to the stairs where he could finally smell the blood of his student amongst the sense of the humans and various liquors.
Once arriving in the back end of the VIP, Uunia was greeted with the sounds of a rather large Italian man trying his best to entertain Vallarie. "I see my assistant has already come ahead of me." Said Uunia, grinning a little, "Ah, Mr. Olvidado, tis a pleasure to finally meet you. I heard of your little night club near the lower part of New York...plenty of my associates take many visits there." The Large Italian man took a cigar that had been lit before his arrival and took a large puff of it before continuing. "They say it is everything that America has had to offer: Women, music, drinking. Everything that we here have at my establishment, but sticking to a much younger crowd." Uunia sticking to the topic at hand sat at a chair that was opposite the man and leaned back, pressing his fingers together in a relaxed position, "Heh, yeah, I noticed them 'Mr. Mammoth'. They drink like camels and gawk at my ladies like kids at a candy shop." Both of them took a laugh as they seemed to be easing up. Uunia could tell he was being tested to see how he was under pressure, something he had gotten used to sense his time in Spain. "Ha ha ha, Yes yes, they are fine boys but they have very bad habits. But back to the matter at hand. We both seem to know who the other really is, and that is something that me and my men have tried our best to hide, and yet you call me, within my private lines, and ask to meet with me. My friend either you have some very seriouse connections, are very lucky, or have some seriouse idle time to get within my private lines." Mr. Mammoth at this point sat forward, "Yet, when we tried to find out who this, Uunia Olvidado is, we run every type of background check available and we come up with nothing. You're a ghost in all the systems throughout any form of intelligence that we in the 'family' are able to get into...and that my new friend, is quite a feat." Uunia grinned at this. He had known that he had kept a dangerously low profile sense his exile from Spain over a century ago. He never stayed too long in one area, keeping quite and leaving bodies in the places he's visited as unsolved murder cases, drug overdoses, and alcohol poisoning. He had made keeping quite almost an art form and was just lavishing at his work.
"Well Mammoth, when you are into what my people are well into, then you should know that discretion is something that we not only insure, we demand. it. AS you could probably guess, the club is a front, rather bad one but here in New York, sometimes hiding in plain site seems to do the trick." Mammoth smirked and put out the cigar he had, "That you are right about. And just what is it that you and men are in to?"
"Well, you could say that we offer surveillance, protection, trafficking, hit contracts, you know, things of the old world order. Things that I know you have dealt with all too well Mr. Mammoth." It was at that point two more of Uunia's men came in with two men on each shoulder, "It was as you said my Lord. Rather pathetic as well...." Uunia then grinned at Mammoth as vampires dropped the men to the floor, revealing the human men to have died not too long ago by brute force as well as being significantly drained, "Now isn't that nice...It's good to see that people still have good manners. He gave us a chance to show off and have a snack..." he said as he finally revealed his fangs. "Vallarie, I would take note of these men. I want all there records gone, is that understood...?" He said as he sat forward, "And if you do a good job I'll let you have a bit of fun with the rest of his blood sacks as well."
